Here are some important points to note about the CUET exam:
1. Language and Subject Selection:
- Candidates can choose up to 3 languages combined from Section IA and Section IB. However, if a candidate selects a third language, it must replace one of the 6 domain-specific subjects. This means the maximum number of tests a candidate can take remains 9, which could be either 2 languages + 6 domain-specific subjects + 1 general test or 3 languages + 5 domain-specific subjects + 1 general test. This flexibility allows candidates to apply to various universities based on their eligibility criteria.
2. Domain-Specific Subjects:
- Section II offers 27 subjects, from which a candidate may choose up to 6 subjects.
3. General Test:
- Section III includes the General Test.
4. University Requirements:
- Candidates should consult the specific requirements of their intended university when selecting languages from Section IA and IB, domain-specific subjects from Section II, and the General Test from Section III.
Make sure to review the requirements of the universities to which you are applying to ensure your subject choices align with their criteria.
