1st Edition of Indo-Egypt Joint Training Exercise Cyclone – I begins

On January 14, the first joint exercise between the special forces of the Indian and Egyptian Armies, 'Exercise Cyclone – I' began at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The Ministry of Defence reported that this exercise seeks to enhance defence cooperation and share professional skills between the two nations. The 14-day exercise aims to improve special forces skills like Sniping, Combat Free Fall, Reconnaissance, etc., in the desert terrain. Furthermore, it offers a platform to exchange information about weapons, equipment, innovations, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
