Amazon back as World's Most Valued Brand, Apple down to No 2

Jeff Bezos's e-commerce company, Amazon, has regained its status as the world's most valuable brand, overtaking last year's leader, Apple. Despite a 15% drop in its brand value from $350.3 billion to $299.3 billion, Amazon secured the top spot, according to Brand Finance's "Global 500 2023" report. Apple, the iPhone maker, slid to the second spot due to a projected decrease in revenue amid supply chain disruptions and limited labour supply. The top 10 list also included Google, Microsoft, Walmart, Samsung Group, ICBC, Verizon, Tesla, and TikTok/Douyin. From India, the Tata Group was the only brand to feature in the top 100, climbing from 78th to 69th place.
