Arjun Munda inaugurates 4th EMRS National Cultural & Literary Fest and Kala Utsav-2023

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Shri Arjun Munda, inaugurated the 4th Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) National Cultural & Literary Fest and Kala Utsav-2023 in Dehradun on 3rd October 2023. The event, organized by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), witnessed over 2000 tribal students from 22 states participating in more than 20 events. Stalls representing different states' rich tribal culture were arranged. The Minister implied how such events fulfil the vision of 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’, an initiative championed by PM Narendra Modi for unity and understanding among different regions. Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, highlighted the state's diverse traditions and various government schemes for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes.
