Assam to Celebrate Mongeet Festival of Music, Culture, and Food

The Mongeet Festival, originating in Majuli, Assam, is a fusion of music, poetry, food, culture, and local art and craft sectors. The festivities commenced in 2020 under the guidance of actor Adil Hussain and actor-turned-entrepreneur Kaushik Nath as a movement meant to support and inspire the emerging music talents in Assam.
