CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurated ‘International Craft Summit’ in Odisha

Odisha's Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, recently inaugurated the first-ever 'International Craft Summit' in Jajpur, an ancient capital of Odisha. The summit was attended by local delegates, art enthusiasts, and pioneer craftspersons from around 15 countries. CM Patnaik addressed the event virtually, noting that this event marks a historic moment for Odisha. He also highlighted the potential of Jajpur to become a major tourist hub, given its rich cultural heritage expressed through vibrant art forms. The summit was organized in partnership with four UN agencies and five UNESCO creative cities. The CM also mentioned the Odisha government’s efforts in developing holistic tourism, handloom, and handicrafts policies for the state’s growth.
