Shri Ram College of Commerce is a located in Delhi. It is a part of Delhi University. The college is most famous for its courses in the streams of commerce, management, and economics. There are eight academic divisions at SRCC, including political science, economics, math, and business.

VALUE ADDED COURSES 

As an initiative towards enhancing the students’ existing skills sets and aligning it to the industry expectation, the college has introduced a number of value added courses. These courses are being managed and delivered by the VAC Committee constituted in the year 2018. The committee, considering the industry’s expectations and the changing dynamics of finance world offers different programs every semester in collaboration with external knowledge delivery partners at a nominal fee. The sessions of these programs are generally held on weekends so that students can pursue such programs without affecting their regular degree course classes. With a view to supporting economically weaker section students, Merit-cum-Need based scholarships are offered in the form of 50% fee waiver to 10 percent students of total batch size in every program.

PLACEMENT

Shri Ram College of Commerce continues to accomplish milestones. With the Recruitment Season 2022-23 witnessing a phenomenal 500+ offers and 100+ recruiters from diverse sectors, placements at Shri Ram College of Commerce have set new records. The Placement Cell has facilitated the recruitment drives of premier recruiters across domains like finance, consulting, tax and advisory, e-commerce, and many more over the course of its functioning, providing various opportunities like placements, internships, and articleships to the students.

Driven by an indefatigable spirit to ensure the overall welfare of the batch, the cell has taken up initiatives like CV Vetting, numerous training sessions on a wide range of topics along with the compilation of training resources like Casebooks, PwD Recruitment as well as other social media campaigns to develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with various stakeholders of the Cell. 

INFRASTRUCTURE

In terms of infrastructure, SRCC is one of the best colleges in the country matching international standards. It is one of the few colleges in the University of Delhi which has upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The College has centrally air conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, library, a state-of-the-art seminar room and a fully equipped auditorium with seating capacity of over 750 persons. The College takes pride in being a differently-abled friendly campus with new ramps, lifts and special washrooms added to the building. Also, the College has various facilities to address the reading, hearing and understanding requirements of various students. The SRCC library is an empowering unit with a Resource Centre for Visually Challenged possessing an array of audio-visual aids to assist in the process of self actualization. The College is endowed with renovated hostels, medical support systems (along with physiotherapy centre), modern gymnasium, swimming pool, a huge parking facility (available to both students and faculty), air conditioned sports complex and playground of international standards. A complete smoke and vehicle free zone, the College provides an eco-friendly environment to its students with the latest initiatives of solar heating, rainwater harvesting, paper recycling and other green initiatives. The College has taken measures to address the need for vigilance and security. The campus is CCTV-enabled to cater to the safety requirements of a well endowed and equipped campus receiving a huge footfall.
