'Gigachat' Russia's Sberbank Launches AI To Compete with Chatgtp

Sberbank, Russia's leading financial institution, has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot named 'Gigachat' designed to compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT. Gigachat was developed using a neural network ensemble model called NeONKA (Neural Omnimodal Network with Knowledge-Awareness). The chatbot exhibits a higher degree of competence in Russian communication than other foreign neural networks. It can perform varied intellectual tasks, such as supporting conversations, answering factual queries, writing texts, and creating images by incorporating the Kandinsky 2.1 model into the ensemble. Developed on the Christofari Neo supercomputer, Gigachat is an effort to reduce Russia's dependence on imported technology, especially given the expanding sanctions over Moscow's activities in Ukraine by Western nations. SberDevices and Sber AI, with assistance from AIRI and AI experts, are further tuning Gigachat's performance.
