India hosts the first-ever physical Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)

India hosted the first in-person Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Startup Forum in New Delhi, organized by Startup India and the Department of Promotion for Industry and Internal Trade. The forum aimed at promoting startup interactions among SCO Member States. Union Minister of State, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Shri Som Parkash, and Smt. Manmeet Kaur Nanda, Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, addressed the forum. The event emphasized collaboration and entrepreneurship and included a workshop on bilateral and multilateral engagements for startup ecosystems. Delegates also visited the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
