India & Switzerland Celebrated 75 Yrs Of Friendship

India and Switzerland recently celebrated 75 years of friendship at a three-day event named 'Swiss Himalayan Bounty' in Satoli village, Uttarakhand. The event highlighted the impact of the collaboration between the two countries, with a focus on the achievements of rural women from the Champawat district who have benefited from projects led by the Switzerland-based organization, Swiss Himalayan Amity (SHA). SHA has four key programs for rural development: Aarohi, Arogya, Alaap, and Cankids. The Arogya project, in particular, has made significant strides in improving maternal and child healthcare.
