K Krithivasan is Appointed as CEO Designate of Tata Consultancy Services

Rajesh Gopinathan, the CEO and MD of Tata Consultancy Services, announced his decision to resign and pursue other interests. In his place, K Krithivasan has been appointed as the CEO-designate, effective from March 16, 2023. Gopinathan will remain with the company until September 15, 2023 to assist with the transition. Notably, during Gopinathan's six-year tenure, TCS added over $10 billion in revenue and increased its market capitalization by over $70 billion. Krithivasan, who has been with the company since 1989, is currently the President and Global Head of the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) business group at TCS.
