Khelo India Youth Game 2022

The 5th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games in 2022, will be held in eight districts of Madhya Pradesh from January 30 to February 11. The event was unveiled with a drone show forming the Games' mascot, a sprinting cheetah named Asha; outlined maps of India and Madhya Pradesh; and displayed the words 'Khelo India Youth Games 2022.' Over 6,000 athletes will compete in 27 sporting disciplines, with Malkhamb and water sports making their debut. The programme aims to revive the sports culture at the grass-root level in India, offering top-notch infrastructure and training to young talent, hence realise its dream of becoming a sports super power.
