Manik Saha sworn in as 13th CM of Tripura

Manik Saha was sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of Tripura, marking his second term in office, following the BJP’s victory in the Assembly polls held on February 16. The oath-taking ceremony, officiated by Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya, was graced by the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister. Joining the Chief Minister, eight ministers also took the oath of office, with a quarter of the inductees being retained from the previous tenure. The Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT), despite its electoral setback, was granted a single ministerial position. Notably, the BJP introduced three new faces as ministers.
