PM MITRA Park launched in Amravati, Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), the Maharashtra government, and the Indian Ministry of Textiles have signed an MOU to establish the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel Park (PM MITRA Park) in Amravati, Maharashtra. Expected to generate an investment of ₹10,000 crore and 300,000 job opportunities, the park spans 1,020 acres and is strategically located near the Mumbai Nagpur Samruddhi Highway and the Wardha Dry Port. The park is a part of the government's initiative to establish seven such textile parks across the country, designed to attract substantial investments, foster innovation and job creation in the textile industry. This initiative is part of PM Modi's 5F concept aiming to position India as a global hub for textile manufacturing and exports.
