- India's junior shooters concluded their impressive performance at the ISSF Junior World Championship (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun).
- The Indian shooters secured a total of 24 medals including 13 gold medals, which placed the nation at top of the medal standings.
- The respective tallies included 3 silver and 8 bronze medals.
- Italy, the next closest competitor, secured 5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, whereas Norway ranked third with 4 gold medals and a total medal tally of 10.
Individual and Team Achievements
- The gold in the men's 50m pistol team event was achieved by Deepak Dalal, Kamaljeet and Raj Chandra. The team score added to 1616 points.
- Their performance was remarkably close as they edged out Azerbaijan by just a single point.

- Mukesh Nelavalli secured a bronze medal in the same event which was his sixth medal of the tournament. His score was 548 over 60 shots, whereas gold was secured by Imran Garayev of Azerbaijan who scored 552.
- Parisha Gupta won silver in the junior women's 50m pistol with a score of 540.
- The Indian women's team consisting of Sejal Kamble, Ketan and Kanishka Dagar won silver, finishing behind Azerbaijan.
- Devanshi, the fifth Indian participant, shot 523 to secure the eighth position.
