Tech Mahindra named former Infosys President Mohit Joshi as MD and CEO

Former President of Infosys, Mohit Joshi, has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IT services provider, Tech Mahindra. His tenure will last for five years, from December 20, 2023 to December 19, 2028. Mohit Joshi will succeed Gurnani, one of the longest-serving CEOs in the Indian IT industry. At Infosys, Joshi oversaw various aspects including the AI/Automation portfolio and Finacle, the banking platform. His portfolio also extended to Infosys' sales operations and transformation, and the Infosys Knowledge Institute. Moreover, he has been serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Risk & Governance and Nomination committees of Aviva Plc since 2020.
