Uttarakhand CM Launches App & Portal To Boost Self-Employment

The Uttarakhand state government, led by Chief Minister Dhami, has implemented multiple initiatives to promote self-employment and job opportunities for the state's youth. Among these initiatives are the launch of the 'Yuva Uttarakhand' mobile application and the 'Prayag portal,' both aimed at providing information about employment opportunities. During an event, appointment letters were distributed to 17 individuals selected through employment fairs. In a further move to promote self-employment, centers dedicated to self-employment schemes were established in all districts of Uttarakhand. Lastly, the state government has collaborated with IIT Roorkee and Microsoft to offer skill development courses, propelling youth towards entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.
