Instead of preparing for multiple entrance tests, students can now focus on a single aptitude exam, which helps in reducing the overall pressure and competition. This unified approach not only lowers cut-off standards but also allows students to apply to various central universities through one exam. To excel in the CUET, it is essential to prepare thoroughly and strategically, focusing on understanding the exam pattern, practicing with previous years' papers, and using effective study resources.

The Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) UG will be conducted in a hybrid mode. For subjects with a high number of registrations, the test will use the OMR format. The exam structure includes the following sections:

  1. Sections:
    • Section IA: 13 Languages
    • Section IB: 20 Languages
    • Section II: 27 Domain-Specific Subjects
    • Section III: General Test
  2. Subject Selection:
    • Optional Choices: Selecting subjects from each section is not mandatory. Students should choose subjects based on the specific requirements of their desired university and course. For instance, Delhi University (DU) will soon release its specific requirements for each course.
  3. Questions and Duration:
    • The number of questions and exam duration will be detailed in the official CUET UG 2025 guidelines.

Aspirants should check the requirements of the universities they are applying to and plan their subject choices accordingly.
